Terms and conditions for the Pick Your Candy website, pickyourcandy.co.nz
Pick your Candy is not a matchmaking service but is offering the opportunity for you to meet other individuals in a safe, comfortable and relaxed environment. By booking a ticket to a Pick Your Candy event, you acknowledge your acceptance of the Pick Your Candy Terms and Conditions and warrant that you have full authority to do so and to abide by all of our terms and conditions as defined below:
YOU – If you are unable to attend an event you have booked and paid for you may reassign your booking to another person of the same gender of your choosing by notifying Pick Your Candy at least 5 days before the event, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org and state that you would like a transfer. If you are unable to arrange a replacement regrettably there will be NO refunds for the event booked. If a transfer request is made with less than 5 full days’ notice the booking will be made void.
US – In order for our events to be a success to both us and you we rely on a minimum number of bookings. If we do not reach a minimum number of bookings for a particular event we reserve the right to cancel that event. In this situation you will be offered a full refund. We will always aim to give you as much warning as possible. We will notify you of event cancellations via the email address and mobile number you have provided. We cannot be held responsible if you do not receive these notifications due to incorrect email and mobile information being provided on your part. We will not cover any costs you might have incurred to get to the venue if you have provided the wrong information during the booking process.
Pick Your Candy reserve the right to refuse your entry or to remove you from an Event in circumstances where your dress code or your behaviour is regarded as being unacceptable.
Any contact with any guest at an event shall be your personal responsibility and you are required to act in an appropriate manner, which should be neither offensive nor rude. If you have any issues with any guest at an event, this should be immediately notified to a Pick Your Candy member of staff, who will deal with the situation.
Following an Event, Pick Your Candy will use all reasonable endeavours to notify you by email of your Matches within 24 hours.
We send results from our Pick Your Candy via email to all attendees that have handed back their date card. You must ensure that the email address you are receiving the results to be current and working. It is up to you to ensure all details you wish us to pass on to potential matches are also correct.
We do our very best to provide a safe and relaxed environment at these events. However, we are not a matchmaking service and thus do not verify the personal details of our attendees. We advise you to choose which event you plan on attending carefully.
As we do not verify the personal details of our attendees or perform background checks we cannot be held responsible if someone is not who they say they are. If you suspect someone of fraudulent activity it is up to you to bring it to our attention before continuing any form of relationship.
